Age Spots and Sun Spots
Age spots (also known as sun spots, lentigos, or solar lentigos) are skin blemishes which are associated with aging skin and sun expose; they are also known as liver spots but this condition has nothing to do with liver problems at all. It is this sun exposure that means that age spots are most common on the face, neck, hands and arms as they are the places not normally covered.
